London’s – Flybe Airline which is Britain’s biggest domestic airline, is to list on the London Stock Exchange as of next month, raising £60m through initial public offering.
The companies  director’s say was one of only a few European airlines to consistently report profits through the downturn, plans to use half of the funds raised to expand its fleet, leaving half to give it a war chest should it come across any attractive acquisitions. This listing will assist Flybe in achieving the next stage in its exciting strategy for growth. Flybe reckoned it had a 28% share if the UK domestic market in the 2009/10 financial year.
